I don't know about you, but I LOVE reading! However, I find a hard time fitting it into my schedule, unless I am challenged! I'm finishing up the Spring Reading Thing (You can read my outcome on the 20th), so I went looking for something to challenge me for the summer.Well, did you know that Summer Reading Programs at your local library are not just for kids? Or at least mine isn't! So, I went down to the library and signed up today!
Now, a challenge is a great way to get reading on your schedule...But, better yet, you might be able to win prizes!!! At my local library, I could win a library prize pack (Don't know what's in it, but it is a prize!), or the grand prize pack consisting of 2 BalletMet tickets, 2 books, a library tote bag, and mug!
I am so excited to start this new challenge! So, here are my rules for myself:My goal is going to be to read 10 books. Here are the books I want to read:
- Starts TODAY!!!
- Books I am finishing for Spring Reading Thing will also count for my Summer Reading Program Challenge.
- Ends on August 1st.
- Post reviews for all books
- Post an overall challenge outcome. (Here are my results)
Rachel's Tears (Finishing this one now)
Feminine Appeal (Thanks to Crossway Books!)
Blue Like Play Dough (Thanks to WaterBrook Press!)
100 Bible Stories, 100 Bible Songs (Thanks to Thomas Nelson!)
"Don't Make Me Count to Three!"

Looks like a great list. The only one I have read was Feminine Appeal and it was fabulous. It is one of those books to keep and reread every so often! Thanks for sharing your list.
